Xing Xing, pronounced "shing", is a country east of Amestris, past the desert and the desert ruins, making it quite the journey to get back and forth. The Xingese people are known for their practice of Alkehestry, a form of alchemy which is much more complex but effective, even over long distances, which is hard or impossible with regular Alchemy. |

Ishbal Ishbal has a vast history with Amestris. The Ishbalan war was here, and this is where the State Alchemist-murderer Scar is from. Watch your step, for the Ishbalans are not fond of the military. |

Liore A desert country much like Ishbal, but much smaller. This town is mostly in ruins now and people are just trying to get by with what they can. They have also had trouble with the military in the past. When the Military exterminated their "god", Father Cornello, they weren't very happy. If you're here on military business, you'd best watch your back. |

Drachma - 1 Viewing Drachma is the vast country north of Amestris. Fort Briggs, run by the Amestrian Military troops led by Olivier Armstrong, is part of the Briggs mountains, which separate Drachma from Amestris. Drachma has had war trouble with Amestris in the past. If you're thinking about visiting Fort Briggs, well, good luck getting even close to it, because security's tight.
